A famous rich slob created a small, insane cottage-industry by asking that of the World Trade Center —I’ve never gone in for any of that. I think they’re a little nuts.

And so now I think it sounds crazy to ask the question, but you know what? A year ago I would also have deemed it crazy, simply to ponder if the ATF could get into the business of smuggling military weapons to drug-dealers.

And yet they DID.

But the more I think about OKC, the more I remember ATF agents alleging they’d been trapped in elevators that had dropped several stories, of heroically prying open the doors, etc —claims later show to be IMPOSSIBLE.

If they are headed for Obama they had better realize that the Republicans didn’t go after Cinton when they had a perfect chance. I just don’t see them as an establishment, Issa excluded here, but as the RNC, I just don’t see them getting any guts and doing anything about it. They are about winning elections and gaining power and money as much as the Democrats and most couldn’t care less about this country.

If Issa proves me wrong and goes all the way I’ll be happy to buy him a dinner anywhere he wants.

Clinton was lying to congress .. that was all that they had really. Yes it is a crime. It is even a felony. But this is not even in the same category. This is bigger than Iran Contra. This is bigger than Watergate.

This is arming terrorists.
This is shipping guns across boarders.
This is directly related to the murder of two United States federal Law Enforcement Officers, dozens of Mexican law Enforcement Oficers and hundreds of Mexican Civilians to date.

This is FAR and BEYOND simple lying to congress my FRiend.
Give Issa time to dot the “i”’s and cross the “t”’s and nail the coffin shut.

They are trying to get Obama wrapped up in all of this as well showing that he had knowledge and authorized this.

The pattern is there. Dissapearing John Does, Blame the white guys, ignore possible islamic connections, Blame it all on ‘homegrown terrorism’, push to keep/increase gun control, and the emotional smokescreen that it was because of Waco which took some of the wind out of the sails of that investigation. Holder was US Attorney for DC at the time, and later Deputy AG under Janet Reno under Clinton, following Jamie Gorelick.
