Full-Speed Ahead for Obama-Sanctioned ‘Taliban Embassy’ in Qatar (always what weakens us)
Breitbart ^ | 12-17-11 | Dave Reaboi

Qatar: host to the US military, al-Jazeera, the Muslim Brotherhood– and now, the world’s first Taliban embassy– at the behest of the Obama administration.

On his Facebook page, Big Peace contributor Walid Phares brought my attention to a report in the Pakistani website The Nation that Hamad bin Jassem al-Thani, the premier of US ally Qatar, is prepared to open an embassy for the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”– otherwise known as the Taliban.

He said, “A solution in Afghanistan requires the participation of the Taliban in a way that must be decided by the Afghans.”

*snip*

Western diplomats have said it is hoped the opening of a Taliban office would push forward the prospect of talks intended to reconcile insurgents with the Afghan government and end the decade-long war.

This story was first reported around the time of the 9/11 anniversary and it’s not a surprise that Obama himself downplayed the news. As The Australian wrote in September:

*snip*

In addition to being home to ( ..... )(sic) in his post, Dr. Phares reminds us that Qatar is the address of al-Jazeera, the Muslim Brotherhood’s most influential figure, Yusef al-Qaradawi, his website OnIslam.net and his popular al-Jazeera tv show, “Shariah and Life”:

Our 'new bff's'

What else to be expected from the most demonstrably despicable, anti-American power and exceptionalism potus rotus in our entire majestic and proud history. He is the exemplification of an authentic Bond villain. Why not just give them a consulate in DC .. then he, Hillary and their comrades at DOS and Homeland Security could freely cavort with these vermin, saving the telecommunications expense and high fuel costs for chummy travel visits?

How can the Joint Chiefs, the Pentagon/military leadership not go into full throttled purple rage and fight to the death and/or resign over this travesty and infamy to the precious troops who were killed by these savages and gave all for this war to defend us? Where's Congress? Anybody home? Dear Lord, save us .. end this evil, vanquish all these evildoers in our midst ...foreign and domestic... and soon please.

This is just appeasement through and through. The Obamanistas can’t even make the claim that the Taliban are not violent as justification for this atrocious policy disaster. Lest we forget that shortly after seizing power in Afghanistan, the Taliban invited Jihadis to their country to train for global jihad. That is how Afghanistan became the incubator for more groups than just Al Qaeda. The idea that the Taliban are just interested in Afghanistan, or Pakistan, or Kashmir, or any other such fantasy does not stand up well to the historical facts.

This from a POTUS that sent a bust of Winston Churchill back to Great Britain and flowered royalty with unusable DVD's in Europe.

In a pinch 0bama would dispute this because it doesn't include the word "stupid" in his perfect liberal form.

Because we haven’t had a general since Norman Schwartzkopf.
