The Republican presidential candidates meet tonight for their final debate in Iowa - and last before the 2012 voting begins.
Frontrunner Newt Gingrich is poised for incoming barbs, especially from rival Mitt Romney. The former Massachusetts governor fanned out across New York City yesterday, mixing fund-raising with a media blitz in which he called the former House speaker zany.
He is anxious to reclaim the campaign lead while Gingrich is eager to solidify it.
Political Intelligence will offer a live blog of the proceedings, scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. EST at the Sioux City Convention Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
The two-hour debate is co-sponsored by the Fox News Channel and Iowa Republican Party. It will be broadcast locally on WFXT-TV, Channel 25.

Gingrich better have his armour on....lots of slings and arrows will be headed his way. I don’t trust FOX NEWS
Be careful out there. Boston.com is the Boston Glob(e).

Romney country = Boston Globe
I agree Katie. Who are the Fox moderators? Brett & Megyn?
Have been catching snippets of all the ‘anchors’ presenting campaign ‘updates’.
Every sound byte is favorable to Romney and every Newt reference is negative. They are so obviously in the tank for Romney (they call him Mitt or Governor Romney and call Newt ‘Gingrich’ not speaker Gingrich).
Subliminal should be subtle - their bias is full frontal.
It will be good practice for Mitt, as this is exactly what the Democraps are going to do.
Might as well get er done now. Then it will be old news when the Dems try and bring it up.
Should be able to watch Fox News live stream online...http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/index.html
Me neither.
If Fox News can hide their pro-Romney position it will be a miracle. I don't expect a miracle.
sodpoddle, there was a time when I loved Fox News and found them to be a refreshing alternative to the msm but during the past year or so...I have noticed they are becoming more and more slanted and more like the liberal sources. What made them one of the most viewed news channels on tv was the alternatives they offered..they lose that and they will be no better than NBC or CBS...they will tank.
Chris Wallace..bashed Newt this morning; Juan Williams, Coulter, Rove, Krauthammer, Dennis Miller, Imus and many other guests are in the tank for Romney. So much for being fair and balanced.
Not sure who the moderators are yet...have to check
Great! Another opportunity for a magnificent Perry brain fart moment.
Cavuto is one of the moderators
Let’s face it - Roger Ailes picked good looking, malleable, young men & women to attract viewers. They were probably screened for their political biases and advised to be neutral.
Thereafter, Ailes has driven his own agenda through ‘the guys and gals we had learned to trust’.
Ailes is just another GOP establishment elite pushing Romney.
Rush Radio 1200 just paged all the Republican candidates to “Souix City”. This is an inside joke. The Hilltop Steak House on Rte. 1 has several large dining rooms. The most famous of which is Souix City. Your party would get paged to which ever “city” had a table open up.
Moderators...On Thursday, Fox News is co-hosting yet another Republican debate—its fourth this year, not including Mike Huckabee’s Dec. 3 Presidential Forum.
But this will be the first debate for Neil Cavuto, Fox News Channel anchor and managing editor of business news for Fox Business, who is moderating the proceedings alongside Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace. (Bret Baier will host the two-hour primetime event from Sioux City, Iowa.)
“I had moderated other, lower-level debates before at CNBC,” Cavuto told Yahoo News on Tuesday after landing in Iowa. “But this is my first on the grand stage, so to speak.”
Cavuto drew moderating duty for tomorrow’s event because of the heightened importance of economic issues in the 2012 race.
CAVUTO!!!!!!!!!!!
Good grief - he is the worst. Poor guy may be a good financial reporter - but his speech and facial expressions are hard to watch.
Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly also...look out for Wallace. Wallace all but endorsed Romney on Fox News
Yep, affectionately known to us behind enemy lines as (m)Assachusetts.
Romney quadrupled my firearms ID fee and took it from lifetime to every four years.
Have a few friends that fled..I mean moved from Masshole to NH. They hate all the rest of the Mass folks that move to the Granite State...lol. NH was a haven of sorts but now the libs that ruined Massachutts are moving to NH and one reason why Romney has so much support there...
