In questioning Kent, Leslie suggested Canada was abandoning Kyoto to hide the Conservative government’s failure to cut greenhouse gas emissions....

Um, during most of the period in which Kyoto was supposedly in force in Canada, were the conservatives in charge? Gosh, wasn't it the left??? So now, only a short period after the Canadian people came to their senses and put the conservatives in charge, now it's all their fault?

This MP Leslie is simply a marxist propagandist.

She actively fought against the Kesystone pipeline at the same time her Province of Nova Scotia gleefully accepts dity oil money in the form of transfer payments from, wait for it, ALBERTA !

This marxist buffoon thinks we are all stupid and don`t know the treaty ,wait for it, EXPIRES NEXT YEAR ! ( article 3... commitment period 2008 to 2012 )

This dangerous marxist seems to think no one knows countries are allowed to withdraw ( article 27 ... may withdraw from this Protocol by giving written notification to the Depositary ) and it doesn`t take effect for one year ( Any such withdrawal shall take effect upon expiry of one year from the date of receipt by the Depositary of the notification of withdrawal, or on such later date as may be specified in the notification of withdrawal). Which means Canada is simply leaving a few months early before expiration date and save about 14 Billion dollars due to the agreement forcing countries to buy credits.
