President Obama plans to maintain a significant number of employees in the US embassy in Baghdad in order to protect US diplomats who could be targeted after the US military departs from Iraq. Need that pic of the Huey lifting US citizens and dependents off the Saigon embassy roof! Somebody in the Obama administration recognizes the likely outcome of the departure of US troops, but the weak response indicates that the recognition comes at a relatively low-level.
