The estranged father and mother of the original family, from Afghanistan are charged, with their son. Honour killings, written off as family violence. Girls were texting boy friends and showing off in light revealing clothing, may have set the father Mohammad Shafia off. A prominent women journalist has listed desperate attempt, after attempt, of the girls and step mother who were trying to hide from this man. The designated authorities failed them.
