The union that represents state police dispatchers is holding a press conference to warn against plans to consolidate operations.
The press conference is being held at the Waterbury-Palladino Center on West Main Street to discuss the opposition to plans to centralize dispatch operations starting in 2012 in the northwest corner of the state.
The dispatchers are part of the NP-3 Administrative-Clerical Bargaining Unit within Council 4 AFSCME.
