I think WayneSburg can get by with one “Bearcat” w/full complement of armaments and ammunition; three M-16s w/ 50,000 rounds of ammunition each; and three grenade launchers with 1,000 rounds each...

..Oh, and one helicopter, please.

The police chief in the town next to me asked the town council to let him order a bunch of machinee guns for his troops.

This is mid-coast Maine. The town has a population of 7,000.

And I am the newly elected police commissioner of the large, enlightened city of Gogogodzillaville (population: in the trillions).

Of course, being enlightened, we have granted our intestinal microflora the right to vote, so our population reflects that.

And I need more than you. Just think of how out of hand things could get if just 1% of my city’s population decided to joint the OWS movement and protest the 1%...
