Fragments. Much ado about nothing.
They may be fragments to you, but they are still remains of military men and women that deserve to be honored with a decent burial.
Burial at sea might have been a good option - seeing as Dover AFB [where the USAF mortuary is located] is VERY close to the shore.
Each set of cremated remains should have been stored in an urn and then say once a month a commitment at sea with a military chaplain could be performed.
BUT NOOOOO !!! They just tossed them in the landfill like yesterday's shoes ...
They are the human remains of American Service members . They are treated with contempt by the Air Force in violation of orders repeatedly & in a conscious manner ie they knew they were violating Orders & didn’t give a shit .
Heads need to roll & they should be field grade officer heads as they were the ones that knew what was going on & didn’t get the situation sorted out.
