Immigration is my issue.

I supported Bachmann, opposed Perry, found Cain acceptable, never had any real interest in Romney, but I strongly oppose Newt Gingrich. I also strongly opposed John McCain to the point where I refused to vote for him in 2008.

So, we are in a situation where the race is about to narrow down after the Iowa caucuses, and Newt is being pushed as the alternative to Romney, someone who is worse than Jon Huntsman and Rick Perry on immigration.

That puts people like me in the position of having to choose between Newt and Romney. Frankly, Romney does not support amnesty for illegal aliens. Newt supports amnesty.

If the race comes down to Romney or Newt, people who supported Bachmann and Cain (because our top issue is immigration) will be forced into the position of having to choose Romney.

Newt is being pushed as the alternative to Romney to force people to vote for Romney as the lesser of two evils.

Got it. One issue? My family is about 30% Mexican. Some full (My uncles wife) to my grandson who carries my name who is 1/4. His other grandpa is 100% and has never learned to speak english and is still here because he’s married to an American. Blanket Amnesty is bullspit. But we have to provide a path for those who have earned it and at the same time evict every stinkin convict and mooch. That’s going to take about as long as it took to let this whole mess happen. it starts with sealing our borders which is the #1 National Security issue.
