What is “Braveheart? There were probably many Scots here that slept with the British during the time of the revolution, just as there are “Conservatives” that feel compelled to support the left today, but it was not the abusive nature of our kinsmen that led the founding fathers to pen the Declaration of Independence. It was not fellow Scots that forced anyone wishing to practice the Presbyterian faith to move to the wilderness and fight indians in order to secure the right to marry and bury outside of the Anglican church.
