Poor excuse and you know it CW. My company has been using E-Verify for several years and participated in the trial program due to our Federal contracts.
It takes about 5 minutes for an employer to enter a SSAN into E-Verify. If there is a mismatch, the employer receives a notification letter and is given time (10 days) to correct the information for the new employee(s).
Texas should be leading the way in this effort, instead Texas is looking the other way and is costing all of the other States money for social services.
Texas Business leaders donate to Gov Perry and their GOP friends and keep this farce going in order to maximize their profits by low wages and the illegals become a burden on society.
Texas should enforce the law and make E-Verify mandatory for all Business, both small and large. If Gov Perry would be honest with the American people he would receive my vote as well as my financial support.
FWIW, I don't hear any other candidates supporting the 10th Amendment like Rick Perry. Only a outsider would take his position.
