Basically saying, I don’t give a cr#p if the country fails. My kids will be OK. Cares more about his kids than the U.S. That’s understandable as a parent, but as president, it’s deplorable.
I don’t like him but at least give him credit for not being that tone-deaf. Read more than the headline - he goes on to say, “But that’s not our vision of America. I don’t want an America where my kids are living behind walls and gates, and can’t feel a part of a country that is giving everybody a shot.”
