Regardless of what I think of the Catholic Church's position on birth control, Pelosi should have been excommunicated a long time ago.

Just to prove what an idiot she is, she picks a fight with the Catholic Church at a time when Democrats are already getting their teeth kicked in on everything from pizza being called a vegetable to Michel's Christmas decorations.

I am a practicing Catholic and can say, the church has liberal leanings, more than you would expect. They support amnesty (or at least no enforcement). They are in favor of entitlements (even though government is taking over the care for the sick and homeless). They are against all war regardless of how many lives it saves or who is liberated. They are against the death penalty (unofficially). About the only place they part ways with liberals is on abortion and contraception.

A lot of Catholics vote democrat.

About half of Catholics vote Democratic it’s a shame, the Bishops and Priests don’t educate enough people on the faith.

I am a practicing Catholic as well. A good thing about the Church is that some of the liberal positions many have are up to the discretion of the individual Catholic——like just war, social justice, and capital punishment. BUT pro-life is Catholic Dogma and Pelosi’s beliefs are a heresy to the Church in that regard. She should be ex-communicated!
