Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder today demanded The Daily Caller stop publishing articles about the growing calls in Congress for his resignation because of the failed Operation Fast and Furious gun-walking program.
As Holder’s aide was escorting the attorney general offstage following his remarks Tuesday afternoon at the White House, a Daily Caller reporter introduced himself and shook Holder’s hand. The reporter asked him for a response to the growing chorus of federal legislators demanding his resignation.
Holder stepped towards the exit, then turned around, stepped back toward the reporter, and sternly said, “You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.”
Holder then walked offstage without answering TheDC’s request for comment about calls for his resignation.
Fast and Furious was a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives program, overseen by the Justice Department, which facilitated the sale of thousands of weapons to Mexican drug cartels via straw purchasers. Straw purchasers are people who can legally purchase guns in the United States but do so with the intention of illegally trafficking them into Mexico.
At least 300 Hispanics in Mexico were killed with Fast and Furious weapons, as was Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

Holder needs a special prosecutor. Holder needs to be held accountable. Holder needs to go to The Big House.
Notice how Holder projects the behavior of Democrats onto others who aren't lemmings.
I agree with you.. but the special prosecutor needs to be appointed yesterday.
In Holder’s and Obama’s world, the media work for them. They ocassionally show their utter contempt for a free press with these childish outbursts.

I think Holder will resign. Even if he is charged and convicted, it will mean nothing, because either Biden or Obama will pardon him, unfortunately.

In the liberal dem controlled press world, the believe that everything happens as described in the press, because THEY TELL THEM what to print or say.
Therefore, he was telling the Daily Caller (threatening really) that they “need to stop this” and that the “this” was being caused by the Daily Caller!!! Imagine the brass balls it takes and the arrogance to say that there are only calls for his resignation because of a small press outfit. That is NOT the case, Holder baby. If we had a real ethical president, there would already be a special prosecutor. But we cannot have that, and have obama re-elected.
Obama is several times worse than Richard Nixon, any way you look at it. Come to think of it, Nixon was no conservative, either (thanks for the EPA Nixon baby- done as a reach across to the democrats who still fried him).
I think he means they wouldn't be calling for his resignation if the newpaper didn't keep publishing stories about it.
IOW, he thinks they could either stonewall the Republicans in Congress, or cut some kind of backroom deal to get them to stop asking questions if the Daily Caller would stop telling people what's going on.
And he might be right.
Thanks, that is what I thought he meant. Wanted to be sure. No Holder we want you gone because it is a unnatural thing how you think of this country. Our country is a good thing, not the evil that you and yours are trying to destroy.
Possibly from the comparison of "grass roots" versus "astroturf". For example, one politician complained that the Tea Party was astroturf.
They better hurry up before Holder has a Ft Marcy Park moment.......
