Only in the hopes that from your vote
  1. you indicate you will accept it slow and gentle rather than fast and hard.
  2. our rulers will extend mercy to you because you've signaled your acceptance of the status quo.

This is the conclusion I’ve come to, and so I wonder why I should vote.

If this election turns out as I'm expecting (Romney - the "frontrunner" who never seems to poll beyond 3rd place), I'll probably not even bother. Voting just encourages the bastards, and also implies your consent to the results. I think I'm pretty much done consenting to anything.
