What source can be attributed to that last statement "nothing illegal was found"?

Its not clear in your post and smacks of editoritating.

I'm intrigued that nothing has come of this one way or another; smacks of some on-going investigation having implications as far reaching as "national security".

If the latter is true, then things can't continue on in the same vein for too much longer w/out repercussions. If not, then the conclusion is none other than LEO corruption.

Either of those options will come unglued (in the long run).

According to the above article -

“Officers did not seize illegal items from Jose Guerena’s home, in the 7100 block of South Rewater Drive, records show. Body armor, a rifle, a handgun, and a U.S. Border Patrol hat were found there.”

I mentioned it from the article, but should have put that in quotes to clarify the post.

It does go into detail that there were items found elsewhere in homes owned by an in-law. However in the home of Jose Guerena (who was sleeping after his shift at the local copper mine) nothing was found.

It’s quite interesting to hear those who he worked for, with and beside explain a different picture of the man they knew.

I believe each person should make decisions based on their observation of the information provided. The sad state of self-investigation only shows that one can investigate for thousands of hours without determining anything.

There are supposed to be Laws for all Citizens to follow. Even those that are part of Law Enforcement.
