Alabama reaps huge rewards from immigration enforcement bill.
The Examiner ^ | 11/21/2011 | Kyle Rogers

Four months ago Alabama passed the toughest immigration enforcement law in the nation. The left-wing has been doing everything to keep the bill tied up in the courts. However, even before going into effect, the bill is working.

Six weeks ago USAToday said that illegal aliens were packing up and leaving Alabama. USAToday actually reported this as if it was a bad thing.

Now there is more good news for Alabama. Unemployment has dropped significantly. In October, the unemployment rate went from 9.8 to 9.3. This .5% drop is five times larger than the drop in the national average. Counties most known for illegal aliens saw the biggest drop. Marshall County, known for illegal aliens working at the chicken processing plants, saw unemployment drop .7% in October.

Just the knowledge that Alabama intends to enforce immigration law in the future has sent illegal aliens packing.

It is great news. Imagine if all 50 states did this or if we had enforcement of existing federal laws. Send them packing!

Don't believe hose who say we cannot rid our country of the millions of ILLEGALs. Amnesty is not the answer.

Hopefully this will convince folks that the notion of “jobs that Americans won’t do”, was and always has been a lie.

Illegals take jobs from people who need them to scrap by during though economic times, from Blacks, Teens, and legal immigrants.

We don’t “NEED” illegal immigrants, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Yep. It's called de-magnetizing. Take away the jobs and gov't. freebies and there's nothing to attract them. Those who are there leave on their own. It would be nice if all 50 states passed similar laws.

Good news, if Florida had that law you would not have seen the huge economy drop in areas like Lee County,Fort Myers area. Illegals that used to come and pick vegetables and fruit have been taking away higher paying supposedly more skilled jobs for years now. They are undercutting the roofers, dry wall, flooring, masonry, all the good paying Construction jobs. They do it for a lot less than the skilled workers, and the Builders do not care. The regular construction workers are unemployed, and a lot have moved to other states looking for jobs only to find the same problem. Shoddy construction is the norm in other places in Florida like the Central east Coast, and it continues.

Whole communities around Florida’s big lake would be nearly empty were ICE to show up with a train or two and took away all illegals there.
Pahoke, Belle Glades, LaBelle, South Bay, Indiantown etc etc are ALL little more than slums for illegals pickers.

So you are denying that the unemployment rate in Alabama dropped a half-percent?

You betcha.
If all states did this, or the FedGov, the unemployment rate would drop by approx 2.5%. Excluding Alaska and Hawaii, it'd be 2.4%.

With that Barry would skate to a 2nd term.
(So don't do it Barry. Keep having your boy Holder suing states)

Landscape, construction, all manual labor up here in the Northeast is filled with illegals up here in the Northeast. Unemployment for men would drop drastically were they to leave.

A country with nearly 10% unemployment and 30% on the government tit doesn’t need ANY sort of immigration, illegal OR LEGAL!

Problem is they merely moved to other states. If D.C. would would start enforcing the laws already on the books we wouldn’t have gotten to this point.
