This sign is public. Millions more are private and unseen.

This is the battle of politics: the seen v. the unseen.

This is news?

Capital has been on strike for 18 months now.

Obama is one and done.

Bad move on his part. The IRS and the NLRB will be descending upon him like the wrath of God in the near future.

I know of a fellow in Virginia that was upset about the direction Obama, if elected, would take the economy and his rather large business. In 2008, he walked thru his parking lot and wrote down all the cars that had pro-Zero bumper stickers on them. Two years later, as Bam’s policies forced lay-offs, the first ones fired were the owners of those cars. Karma is heck!

My company has the same policy though we don’t want attention about it.
Usually we hire seasonal employees to work in a manufacture process, this last two years instead we kept a minimum skeleton crew. Just a couple of drivers and a yard crew who were not the brightest bulbs around.

For those work was better than average with plenty of overtime, actually this was my best year since 2004. I had to work a bit harder to take up the slack and there was a lot of multi tasking, we kept a couple of guys for a brief time but as soon as they were told they had to actually do manual labor instead of making just deliveries they quit.

So my advice is this, hire people that have diverse skills, and avoid the ones that have all these specialized degrees in one narrow field, they won’t adapt to lesser work and will just leave you hanging. If anything they will just slack off and pretend to be busy and will adversely affect those with better work skills.

No news here. After more than six months unemployed I am still a contractor after nine months at my current job. At less than half of what I was making three years ago. I hate it but I can’t say I blame my employer.

Pretty much EVERYTHING in this country is at a standstill until BO is gone.

Everything except whining and protesting by libs.
THAT is at an all time HIGH.

He’s not hiring as well as 1000s of other business owners as well until Lady Obama is gone nor are people investing in the stock market. Great time to buy if you are willing to risk Lady Obama not winning a second term.

I work for a wholesale company in South Florida.
In 2007 we had (4)-26ft. delivery trucks and (20) full-time employees.
We are down to (2) delivery trucks and (11) full-time employees.
My boss told me the week that Obama was elected that he was imposing a hiring freeze. He has had to scale back our health insurance to bare-bones coverage. Last week he told me that if Obama is re-elected he will have to lay off (3) more employees in order to keep the doors open.
All of us that are grateful that we have jobs, let alone one with a company-assisted health coverage.
We simply cannot afford another four years of Obama.

The law of diminishing returns comes into play here.

Employers who had to lay off people found that the job could get done by less people with more profit.

When the economy is good and things are rolling along fine a business does not mind the diminishin returns so much because the business owner can take more time off and enjoy life. When things tighten up that man starts working harder himself and starts expecting more from the people he keeps.Less people working, more profit.

Add this to the fact that Obama’s policies have made it even more expensive to hire people and we have the answer to why the economy is not returning to better days.

I listened to my seventy two year old neighbor crying about how hard he has to work to pay taxes, keep the large home, large car(s), etc., and how he is worried about how he is going to make it when he is ninety. Yep, both he and his wife voted for the Marxist rabble that occupy the White House.

Meanwhile, I am cruising on my side of the street in early retirement, working a growing ministry, baking my own bread, eating from my own garden( including an abundant crop of pecans this year), driving my older(paid for)Volvos, fishing frequently in my older(paid for)boat, and hunting when the freezer level drops enough to put another deer or a hog in.

My wife and I have talked about the possibility of either starting another business, or managing one if the economic climate changes, but right now we are content to live the life of beach bums while the leftists whine.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Blessed at the Beach!

Businessman's Sign: No Hiring Until Obama Gone

this is the de facto policy of a good many companies...whether publicly stated or not....

Bold public move that more companies should emulate

Obama was, is, and will always be Obama. His election was far more the result of GOP action and inaction. If we had had a conservative (compassionate my arse) President and a conservative House and Senate, when we held them, and had nominated someone who had not dropped a deuce in our cheerios, we would not have an Obama problem

No Donations until 0bama leaves office.

A term that gets the message across to people wanting donations to a "charity" that I have no interest in giving to their cause.

When a business has to lay off someone they should lay off the idiot that voted for Obummer. We have to make those idiots pay for their stupidity. I surmise from watching Jay Leno’s man in the street surveys where he interviews stupid people - I’d wager 95% of them are lefties.

Employment is not just about current employers hiring people, it’s also about the many lost opportunities from entrepreneurs that fear the hostile business environment that America has become. People like those at OWS and in Washington, like Obama and Pelosi and the democrats in general, are what’s keeping the economy in shambles and employment so high.

I imagine that there are many people, who are hesitant to start a business and hire people, because of how costly it would be with so many regulations and so much red tape and the high costs of employee benefits, especially the high cost of Obamacare looming.

I, myself, have an idea that I would like to convert into a business, but, I can’t bring myself to investigate it further until the economy improves and the anti-capitalism crowd in Washington and elsewhere are neutered.
