Had a Sheridan as a teen,it could put a pellet thru a 1 inch thick pine board. Not too shabby for an air rifle.

I would have liked to have seen that 1” through a board Sheridan rifle.

Most pellet rifle are lucky if they can bury a soft lead pellet past the skirt in wood.
