Still on top? It’s like he never left. Maybe Cain’s here to stay, eh?

This is good news. Cain gets the most Republicans/Tea Party/Conservatives. Romney and Huntsman get the liberals. That should tell everyone something. If this poll is accurate it means that Cain has picked up some steam again. I think people are realizing that perfect is should not be the enemy of good. It is not every day we have a chance to really elect positive change that is credible and real and is not just another politician. Cain has that and my argument is ‘Why Not?’. Let’s see what a real businessman with private sector experience can do. Someone who had to please customers and produce a profit selling a product.

I’m with Cain. I’m not afraid of the non politician or small government conservative no matter how in a tizzy the left gets or our own GOP elite with the idea that we just might elect someone who isn’t one of them. It seems they have nearly destroyed this country. We probably have the highest concentration of highly educated people on the planet in Washington DC and they can’t do better? I don’t believe it. It is time to think outside of Washington DC.

I’m still undecided, but Cain is not going to be my choice. His fear of being videotaped at a meeting in NH, or arguing over whether it should be 45 minutes or 60 minutes, and being proud about not being a reader? No thanks.

When did the party of Buckley become so proudly anti-intellectual? Anti-pointy-headed-university-bots, sure, but if we don’t champion reading and intellectual pursuits, we’re doomed.

Can we get this in breaking news (since there are other poll results there?)

Much has been made about Cain's lack of foreign country details. That does not bother me. The president does not deal with all countries simultaneously. There is a cadre of advisers and the huge State Department always around at the beck and call of president. The president needs to have a basic philosophy on foreign policy, not every detail. The president does not get on the phone or read newspapers to gather details. He is briefed daily by a slew of people.

What is Most important is that the president be looking at ALL issues wearing the conservative hat and wearing conservative colored eye glasses. A great president is never a micro-manager of details. He/she provides the vision and direction. Cain has that by the tons. There are literally thousands of people working in the executive branch to carry on his/her orders.
