NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- A sell-off on Wall Street gained momentum Monday, with the Dow sinking more than 300 points, as investors remained on edge about the lack of progress on solving U.S. and European debt progblems.

suspect its the combine problems of the debt committe fallout, spains new govt and germany now saying it has problems and the french debt reaching crisis level, its a whole new heap of crap day, the euro is screwed.

Congress is already looking for ways to put a stop to the automatic spending cuts that will kick in with the failure of the debt committee.
