Gingrich's support on the rise this month by Jeffrey M. Jones
PRINCETON, NJ -- Republicans are most likely to name Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich as their first choice for their party's 2012 presidential nomination, with Herman Cain close behind. Among all Republicans nationwide, Romney is the choice of 20% and Gingrich 19%. Among Republican registered voters, Gingrich is at 22% and Romney at 21%.
Mid-November 2011 results: Next, I'm going to read a list of people who are running for the 2012 Republican nomination for president. After I read the names, please tell me which candidate you are most likely to support for the nomination, or if you would support someone else.

In their lying poll, Mittens gets only 21% support and he’s a top choice?
Yeah and Gallup can’t tell the truth - that he’s only being pushed by them because in order to make him look like a contender!
Looks like the lesser of 2 evils yet again.
Just saw a wonderful description of Romney: “He oozes insincerity.”
woot! Cain is still in this! now if we can just talk back the fair weather supporters that fled to Gingrich as soon as the media turned it’s smear machine on Cain, we can put up a real conservative against Obama next year!
Go Cain!
Gallop is a DNC tool.
I beg to differ with the MSM> See this straw poll conducted by registered TEA Party voters in Missouri last week.
PRESS RELEASE.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The results are now available for the straw poll Missouri TEA Party groups coordinated over the past week. We consider this straw poll a huge success. Not only because of organized coordinated participation from TEA Party groups from all areas of the state. But also because of the great turn out at each local group’s sponsored location. We have shown that the candidates who rise to the top with the people are not the statists and progressives the general media promotes. This poll was conducted between Thursday Nov 10th and Thursday Nov 17th.
I HAVE THE FINAL STRAW POLL RESULTS.....
TOTAL STATEWIDE VOTES = 995
HERMAN CAIN....320 (32%)
RON PAUL....282 (28%)
NEWT GINGRICH....276 (28%)
MITT ROMNEY....32 (3%)
MICHELE BACHMANN...31 (3%)
RICK PERRY....30 (3%)
RICK SANTORUM....13 (1%)
OTHERS....(+/-2%)
Romney 20%
Gingrich 19%
Cain 16%
margin of error... 4%
it’s a three way tie!
Go Cain!
Cain has taken their best shot and is STILL standing!
Romney may be big in New York but he ain't dung here in SC and just one of our votes are currently worth a thousand NY votes.
What are the numbers in Iowa,NH,SC,and Fla?
Those count the most --and it's gonna be Cain all the way.
yep! Cain has taken their best shot, and is still standing.
I would love for Herman to stand up after he wins Iowa and say... Mitt.. you’ve been Hermanated!
lol
This ad which ran in early 2008 is part of the “We Can Solve It” global warming ad campaign sponsored by former Vice President Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection.

Since Reagan, have you ever had an election that was not the lesser of two evils.... I was too young to vote for Goldwater, but I think I would have been excited about his campaign.
As it always has been. You're not backing Jefferson are you? Against a good man like Adams? That flip-flopper doesn't stand a chance against those slave girl charges. ;-)
So if Cain was ahead in this poll you would have posted that "Nationwide polls are meaningless?"
Straw polls are beyond worthless; that someone would attempt to counter a scientific poll with a straw poll is hilarious.
My reason for voting for anyone but Romney is that the left attacks anyone who gets close to bumping him off for the nomination. Why do you suppose they villify everyone else who gets close to him but never him? I don’t think I want to find out. This country has had enough.
