If a world currency is forced upon us, it will not work.
We HAD a currency that was recognized all over the world, the dollar, but it was dependent on an economically strong USA.
The Euro was an attempt to unify currencies but it's failing because some nations don't carry their own weight.
Any attempt to create a world currency based on some artificial "basket of currencies" is a colossus with feet of clay.
