That really began to dawn on me after the Fort Hood shooting when it became known how the Muslim psychiatrist shooter had been allowed to remain despite the near-universal condemnation of his performance. And I think that the repeal of DADT will be a problem, not because of individual gay soldiers, but because the politically-correct brass will be paralyzed when it comes to disciplining them.
I don't think the subversion (if you want to call it that) is complete yet by any means, but the signs aren't good. First, they took education, then, they took the press, then, they took the bureaucracies. If we did lose the military, well, who can even bear to think about it?
