I served under a muslim NCO in the army in the 90’s (I am ethnically part jew, saved by His grace). He was a very good man and one of the best soldiers that I ever knew. He was born and raised in Texas as I remember. I don’t agree with the the gentleman from Tennesee.
That was the 90s. How would he feel about going to war against Muslims?

A Sunni Muslim is not a fellow Muslim to a Shi’ite. There are now 289 sects of muslim at war with each other at last count I am aware of.
While there they may not be able to agree on what sect of islam is the “true” Islam, they can at least all agree on one thing, All Jews and infidels must die.

A Sunni Muslim is not a fellow Muslim to a Shi’ite. There are now 289 sects of muslim at war with each other at last count I am aware of.
While there they may not be able to agree on what sect of islam is the “true” Islam, they can at least all agree on one thing, All Jews and infidels must die.

I have long advocated the same position because of the Muslim doctrine of “taqiyya” which makes it acceptable, even desirable, for a Muslim to lie if by doing so he/she can advance “Islam”.
That being the case, no oath giving by a Muslim can be taken at face value.
