We’ll never watch this show. This channel can cram it up their rosey dark camera because these people need to move to the part of the world where their lifestyle is accepted. This country is not for you.
I watched this last night and thought the same thing.
Jeff seem to me like a total p-whipped girlieman.
TLC should be TTC, “The Taqqiya Channel”

It's a smart technique not to target the real biggies like Wal-Mart....they're too big to care.
The lion always picks out the weakest in the herd to attack. I suggest we concentrate on two companies that are in the medium category....Amway and K-Mart (Sears) which is reeling economically right now.
If someone could post a customer relations email link to each it would be appreciated....I just moved and the movers are coming tomorrow, ugh.
Let's go!

Good point re picking the weakest in the herd.
However, local Walmart Manager is not going to
be happy with my not-so-soft reminding him that
the brand new Target is a couple of block away and
they really want my business. Maybe he will discuss
this issue in his next manager’s meeting.
I’ve printed out the list of sponsors and handed
them out to friends at an AM meeting and they
were anxious to get the info!

The Ministry of Truth is not happy with us.
One word for it (besides "propaganda")....is.....PHONEY!
The Islam gal's bridal veil hides the big blotch of tattoos on her shoulder blade. How "All-American" this makes her.
The Muzzie football coach yells a cuss word.....how "All-American" this makes him.
On and on goes the good-time, rock 'n roll, phoney-baloney efforts to portray the protagonists as "All-American" Mickey Rooneys and Judy Garlands.
The least phoney of them all was the Catholic mother of the Catholic groom. She broke down when voicing her concerns and despair over his conversion to Islam....which she and dad had to sit in on later in the show when the conversion service was "sanctified" by some Imam type guy.
Mom un-phonied pretty fast as the conversion/wedding/reception rites unfolded during the evening, joining afterwards in the dancing and applauding the sexy, gyrating belly dancer entertainer.
Now, the beguiling belly dancer at the wedding reception showed how "All-American" everything was. Just for more phoniness, a couple of Irish clog dancers performed just to give the Catholic guests equal time.
Well, I could go on....but you get my drift. Deep and emotional things going on but papered over and ignored for the sake of portraying Islam as tolerant, fun, cool, mod, respectful of women......salted with a dash of implied advocation of "blending" religions and cultures radically opposed to each other.
The characters in the show are not at all compelling, the "All-American" propaganda line will get old as well as obvious.....and, despite assuming the show will get rave reviews from liberal Roger Ebert-types, I predict an early demise for a show which eventually only the most ardent PCers and self-flagellators will bother to watch.

The other word is "Taqqiya."
Leni
Taqiyya (alternate spellings taqiya, taqiyah, tuqyah), meaning religious dissimulation,[1] is a practice emphasized in Shi’a Islam whereby adherents may conceal their religion when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion.[2] This means a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts while they are under those risks.[3]
Musafah or Simba?
It ties right in with my review of the new Islam propaganda show in # 54 above, doesn't it!
I'm convinced the show is more "taqiyya" than truth....and more phoney show-biz pathos and weak drama than reality,
Leni
