Herman Cain has had a tough two weeks. So, will he remain the “flavor of the day?” Or of the month? Or even into January, when the first Republican presidential primaries and caucuses will be held? That is, can the successful Georgia businessman’s popularity surge among likely GOP voters be sustained, in light of accusations by anonymous women, and some not anonymous, that he sexually harassed them— charges he strongly denies—during his tenure as the National Restaurant Association’s chief executive officer?

That said, however, a great majority of Cain’s critics go after him, not because he is black necessarily, but because he is a politically conservative thinker, who happens to be black. He sincerely and passionately opposes higher taxes, thinks we should defend ourselves in time of war and prepare for war during peacetime and supports the traditional definition of marriage as between a man and woman. He doesn’t believe in more government control over our lives.

He will win the nomination and then the Presidency because people are sick and tired of the frauds and shysters who are so anal and slick that they’ve even made being bald and having facial hair politically incorrect for a President. Well guess what?

This poor man suffered a cruel injustice but I guarantee it is going to come around and bit the instigators right on their own butts, and take a good chunk of meat out.

Let’s face it, the Beltway elite (which includes the national media) do not want some regular guy becoming president and they will do whatever they can in their power to prevent it from happening by making any upstart (like Cain or Palin) look foolish and unworthy. Unfortunately, all too many voters are willing to buy into the meme and accept instead, whatever empty suit that the elite serve up to us.
So true. The concept of fair elections is becoming a charade.
