Nor has she satisfactorily explained why she agreed to follow Thomas to a second job or why she made telephone calls to the nominee after leaving his employ. The calls included one to congratulate him on his remarriage and another to ask advice on obtaining a research grant.

Anita hill was a liar. A damned liar.

Yet Newt Gingrich takes Herman Cain to task for making a tiny joke at her expense?

GINGRICH: “I think if you look at the concerns we have about issues like sexual harassment, if you look at the tragedy at Penn State, if you look at how people feel in general about this kind of stuff, it’s not something to be joked about,” Gingrich said on Laura Ingraham’s show.

“He may well be innocent,” [GEE THANKS for the vote of confidence there Newt!] Gingrich said of Cain, “and I think it's perfectly reasonable for him to defend himself and for him to make clear who his accusers are, but these are not things, I think, that you joke about.”

Newt sounded like an academic feminist! and relating Cain's little quip to PENN STATE? Who's side are you on, Newt?

I keep asking this. Did Clarence Thomas ask for a quid pro quo for a job for Anita Hill? Did Cain EVER actually have sex with his accusers? Or demand that unless they played ball, they weren’t going to get the job? Every one of the Cain accusers has stated that he made them “uncomfortable”, but not ONE has said that he forced himself on them. In fact, they report that when they told him “No”, he...stopped. Did any of these women get told to “put some ice on that”? Now THAT’S rape. Done by a professional who knows rape very well.

There is a mean, self-serving side of Newt that comes out on a regular basis.

Newt might be intelligent, but a leader and a gentleman he is not.

I agree with you. I was just recently bragging about Gingrich as being about the only Repub to actually defend Cain while the others seemed happy to let him twist in the wind... and then this. Disappointing.

Newt is perplexing. One minute he’ll b-slaps a liberal moderator, and next minute he sounds like one.

Newt is the classic example of a guy who is too smart by half.

Newt may sound intelligent, but his actions sure are stupid many times...good at debate because he has experience as a college teacher, he should be good. Bet he could argue both sides of a subject and sound good both times...:O)

Anita Hill made a name for herself by applying Miracle-Grow to a Coca-Cola can. She was anointed, exalted, and elevated to liberal plantation sainthood for the secondary effects of her testimony only. As far as I know, everything she stated or omitted about Oral Roberts University and the timeline used was—until after Thomas remarried—a curve ball with the facts. The phone records speak volumes.

For a brief instant, the Liberal squeamishness was gone. “I never met an evangelical I didn’t like”—aka Anita Hill vs. Will Rogers. As far as I know, the topic of Oral Roberts University is not covered in any standard Liberal insurance policy for political correct statement or thought. Miracles make for strange bedfellows—not.
