Here’s the interesting thing...both MSNBC and CNN are marginal players with profit. If you had a contract coming up at CNN in the next year....it’s zero chance for a pay-raise, and you might have to accept a pay-cut...just to stay on.

What Fox News has done....is carve out the bulk of viewers, and they just aren’t going to return until CNN balances it’s news. At some point....maybe five years from now...CNN will be forced into the corner because they can only afford 2nd rate journalists on its staff.
