The Canadians don’t want Maine. It used to be easy to cross back and forth between Aroostook County and New Brunswick. Not anymore. Now you need a passport or your name goes on a suspicious list. Canada no longer wants to mess with Mainers.
Can’t say as I blame them I wouldn’t want to mess with them either if Collins and Snowe are an example.
