What’s there to discuss? The man is a pederast.

Are they worried about their “brand”?

They should be worrying about the children that were raped by this vile SOB.

They should also be contemplating the fact that thanks to Mr. Sandusky’s unnatural predilections, which they chose to ignore, Penn State is going to be the size of a one-room schoolhouse by the time they get finished paying off the civil suits that I foresee on the imminent horizon.

They need to cancel their remaining games, it is going to be a security nightmare.

Not to mention what happens when they go to Columbus and Madison, there will be angry mobs there to greet them.

with the hundreds of millions of potential liability created, I wouldn’t be surprised they shut down the school itself...not just football.

It would be a good idea for the board to consider exactly those basic issues. Should they cancel the remainder of the football season? Should they suspend the entire football program for one or more years?

They might also consider adding a university-wide regulation requiring all of their affiliates to IMMEDIATELY notify the police of serious crimes against children. They could specify that failure to report certain crimes may result in immediate dismissal, and that some crimes should even be reported second-hand.

They need to send a clear message that the university is more important than the football program, and future cover-ups won’t be tolerated. It sounded like they were headed in that direction at their last press conference.
