Karen Kraushaar, one of the two women who settled sexual harassment claims against Herman Cain with the National Restaurant Association, spoke publicly for the first time on Tuesday about her allegations against the Republican presidential candidate.
Ms. Kraushaar, a spokeswoman at the Treasury Department, said in an interview that she was upset that her name had leaked into some press reports. But she said that she had decided to speak out now that her identity was publicly known.

I hope Cain wins so he can fire her ass..
She said she did not know whether or how she might tell more of her story, but had been warming to the idea of a joint press conference where all of the women would be together with our attorneys and all of this evidence would be considered together.
She said of Mr. Cain: These allegations can be considered together as a body of evidence.
In other words, she is going to let it hang in the air for a bit longer, and try to drag Cain through some more mud.
Cain also said that this was the only case that he was aware of. But, the NY Times is still saying there was another woman that had settled. Was that the one that the attorney called "Sharon from Chicago"?
I cannot believe how low our press has sunk. I am past the point of disgust and Cain isn’t my favorite.
She still didn’t explain exactly what it is she accussed Cain of.
Why can’t she just say “this is what he did...”?
You don’t settle for $35,000 if there’s any “there” there.
Courageous, because you know she is going to be trashed. I never thought that conservatives would do this and I’m disgusted with what I’ve seen in this forum.
If anybody thought the GOP could win the womens’ vote this time around, forget it. Maybe a few women - such as those who post here saying that women who work have to expect such things - but nobody else, believe me.
Cain has made these women angry now with his lies and I don’t blame them for going public.
Cain brought it on himself, just as Clinton did. If he had admitted the first (undeniable) account and just apologized in neutral terms, none of this would have happened.
But, like Clinton, he has a mega-ego and he thinks it’s all about him.
There is a race card industry and there is a sexual harassment industry. They paid her to go away. The NRA settled rather than litigate because that course was cheaper, no other reason.
A new Cain train?
“You dont settle for $35,000 if theres any there there.”
Real sexual harrassment by a CEO,,,it’s worth 10 times that.
Well, so far we have:
If we shoudl consider the allegations as a body of evidence, then so far there's no there there.
Is she actually IN the administration? I thought she was basically just a GS Federal employee.
Very very GUILTY!
I think she was the Press agent for Janet Reno
during the Elián González affair. The young boy who was taken at gunpoint
and sent to Cuba.
Well, that’s pretty safe since one has already been shown to be a fraud, no one has any clue about the 2nd, the latest one says something about his asking a woman who had questions to have dinner with him. She says it “sounded” weird. So does her story. My guess is they already had a dinner planned (it would be logical since he was in Egypt and would give them a better chance to ask specific questions & mingle). That’s just nuts because she’s making an accusation for something that NEVER happened.

“A woman that said Cain invited her to dinner—in front of a group of women—and they she felt harassed by his invitation, so the entire group of women had dinner with him.”
Yeah, but you forget, he made HER pay for the wine. Everyone knows that the invited guest speaker pays for the wine. Especially when it’s for a group a women deeply suspicious of him to guzzle.
