I agree, if true, he just made a pass. It’s irresponsible for the press to be throwing around the “sexually assaulted” phrase but what else would one expect?
How else was she gonna get a job?

1. She met Herman Cain when she worked at the National Restaurant Association. She sat at his table with her boyfriend at several NRA functions.
2. She said she admired Herman Cain. I suspect that she desired him as well.
3. Herman Cain never made any advances towards this woman during her employment at NRA.
4. The woman loses her job at NRA.
5. The woman calls Herman Cain to ask to see him about helping her with getting her job back or another one like it at NRA.
6. She tells Herman Cain she is staying at the Hilton.
7. She lives 200 miles outside of DC.
So, who is harassing who? Who assaulted who?
Why couldn't she drive or take the train to DC and meet for lunch? Why did she tell him she had a room at the Hilton?
Why did she go to his Tea Party Event a month ago (before the allegations were made by 2 other women) to see if Herman Cain would “remember me”.
All this sounds like a bipolar woman off her meds!
How can anyone defend themselves against these kind of people?

James Gregory played the bufoon Senator who complains to wife Angela Lansbury that she keeps changing the number of communists that he's threatening to expose in his daily press appearance, and he can't keep the number straight. Can't she just give him one number to remember?
Lansbury yells back to him, Idiot, I give you one simple thing to do, can't you just do it? While you keep changing the number of communists in government, the press will report the changing number instead of looking elsewhere into other things that are going on. It's no longer "are their communists in government, it's how many communists are there?"
That's what the Leftist MSM is doing to Cain.
The script is now "Is it one woman, two women, four women, more? It's no longer "Did he do it?"

She had been employed at the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s. I'm not stating that her employment overlapped with any other woman who made a charge against Herman Cain, nor that she knew any other woman who made a charge against Herman Cain.
I'm only stating that, as a legal matter, a nondisclosure agreement signed in connection with the financial settlement of a woman's sexual harassment claim would not have prevented coworkers from knowing about the internal claim when it was filed. The nondisclosure agreement is entered into far down the road . . . long after the woman had the right and the ability to blab about any events that happened, that she imagined happened, or that she wanted to go on the record as having said happened.
I hope I've made that distinction clear.

So she has a kid who is too young to have been in the picture when the alleged event took place. Why mention her being a single parent? Padding to make her sympathetic in the eyes of the public I guess.

Look, I am no way saying that he ever was alone with her. She is as likely as not to be the biggest liar on earth.
It would just be tons easier if Herman Cain were able to say, truthfully, it is my policy to never be alone with a female who is not my wife. So this could never have happened.
In our culture, very few married men live this way so they cannot say that. Our culture invites men and women who are not married to be alone together. And many times it is totally innocent and platonic. I am not saying that every time a man or woman is alone together something sexual is going on. But it is hard to prove a negative. Hence, Billy Graham’s rule.
But the way our culture is going now it will soon be impossible for two men or two women to be alone without suspicion or allegations of sexual advances.
I hope that Cain is able to overcome this. It is unfair to try to bring him down this way. Especially when the left celebrates deviancy in their political leaders. But why do you think the left (or whoever) is doing this? Because it does not have to be true to work. And there is a double standard for conservatives and libs. It is almost impossible to turn the tables on them and bring down one of their candidates in a primary race.

If a dem were 'caught' harassing a 19 year old intern - female reporters would joke about wanting knee pads... With Paula the trailer park 'snickers' were cruel. When it's the likes of Larry Flynt liberals make a movie about him and portray him as a hero.
When it's one of us, the MSM put on their 'oh so shocked' faces - and do the 'women are too fragile" to deal with a man coming on to them. In a flash they're all Victorian girls in need of fainting couches.
It's one sick double standard.
Aside from problems with the press it's also time to look at sexual harassment laws.
I will wait for answer, but assume she must have been a fortune teller (in more ways than one)!
