It might work for Israel, because they have a pretty small (and fenced!) border to police with the Palestinians. We’d need thousands of these things, and if they were effective, I think the cartels would just start destroying them. We are using unmanned aerial drones to watch some parts of the border, which is probably more efficient. Too bad they are unarmed drones :(
