Herman Cain accuser requests permission to address harassment reports (BRING IT ON!)
CBS News ^ | 11/03/2011 | By Stephanie Condon

One of the women who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment in the 1990's will ask for clearance to respond to reports about the matter, CBS News political correspondent Jan Crawford reports.

Joel Bennett, an attorney for the woman, said his client will today ask the National Restaurant Association (NRA) for permission to address the reports without violating the confidentiality agreement she signed.

The woman signed the confidentiality agreement as part of a settlement she reached with the NRA after she filed a complaint about Cain's behavior during his tenure as the restaurant lobbying group's chief executive. Two women filed complaints against Cain while he led the NRA, and a third unidentified woman now reportedly says she considered filing a complaint.

On Tuesday, Bennett told CBS News that the NRA "ought to waive the confidentiality and non-disparagement provisions and let the two women, if they choose to do so, come forward and tell their stories so that it can get a complete public airing."

Though Bennett's client would like more freedom to respond, she may not say much, since Cain's accusers have been reportedly reluctant to enter the media spotlight.

Unless Herman Cain grabbed his crotch and said “it’s party time, baby”, this is just a big yawn. If he said she looks pretty, it is not harassment. And remember =- Gloria Steinem said men get one free grope (well, men who are liberal Democrats, anyway). So anything less than that should end this story.

Why the hell not??? If you've got something to say, put it out there! Or, does your new agreement with George Soros stipulate you only need to just make an insinuation Cain might have at one time said or done something that could, in the judgment of someone be considered slightly offensive in the excessively broad definition used today?

I want to know exactly what she accused Cain of doing, or I want her to shut up. I'm tired of the innuendo.

Since this allegedly occurred in a public restaurant where other people witnessed it, I want to know what they saw. I'm not going to accept her account without corroboration.

I suspect that this is all about something like an off-color joke. If it had been something more serious, the instigators of this hatchet-job would have leaked it by now. I think they are holding back the details because they know that the public would dismiss it.

The attorney seems to be pushing this story big time. Very bizarre.

I’m sure she sees payday potential. The meager settlement from years ago is nothing compared to the rights to her “story.” I’m thinking f she manages this correctly, she could receive at least six figures. I’m sure some Obozo liberal could up the ante to get it to seven figures.

Brainwashed bimbos!

They were probably in their early 20’s - straight out of college and not expecting to find a mature, friendly, Godly black superior in charge of their employment fortunes.

His genuine friendliness and humor probably knocked all their programmed liberalism brain cells loose.

Now, 12 years later - they may have matured some and are reluctant to revisit their biases. Or not;)

Well, she kinda does, kinda doesn't:

Though Bennett's client would like more freedom to respond, she may not say much, since Cain's accusers have been reportedly reluctant to enter the media spotlight.

Seriously? Can you imagine what would happen to these women if they were accusing a Democrat? The MSM would flay them.
