Wonderful . . . how much does it weigh?

All that armor seems great until you have to run around in it in the freaking heat.

Website says the Fat Boy (one tested above) says a 5x9 plate weighs 3.5 lbs and can defeat .50 armor piercing rounds at 50 feet.

Middle thickness 5x9 is 2.5 lbs. and Thinline 5x9 is less than 2 lbs and has stopped over 100 9mm and .45 rounds.

One of the interesting properties is that the alloy is extremely effective at dissipating heat. I have wondered if that could work as a positive side benefit in the hot desert.
