I have a friend who is getting ready to receive cancer treatments (chemo).
She said the doctor told her he wanted to prescribe a certain medication, but because the drug company is “greedy,” and they can’t get the price they want for it, it’s in short supply, so he had to prescribe something else.
I'll bet that doc's patients would say the same thing about trying to get a medicare appointment with the doc who likely limits the number of medicaid / medicare patients he sees because he can't get the price he wants needs for it. So his medicare appointments are in short supply and the patients muse see someone else or wait.
