LA has one party rule like most other Southern states. I guess some people just can’t be happy the Democrats were run out of New Orleans.
If Jindal was half as bad as his critics say, he would not have carried every parish in the state.
First of all, the demmicrats are still running New Orleans. Jindal is a lieing SOS. He is a RINO and is only interested in keeping his name in the papers to inflate his ego.

Both houses of the LA legislature are Republican-majority. Both houses are 4 year terms, and every seat is up for re-election next Tuesday, along with state legislative elections in NJ, VA, and MS.
The political climate of Louisiana was established almost single-handedly by Huey Long. It is a true tribute to Gov. Jindal’s political skills that he can be as conservative as he is and yet continue to survive in that lake.
