Oddly, at the same time, she's very "schoolmarmish" -- all the signs of someone who's been explaining Dick and Jane to third graders so long she can't talk to adults; that "gushing" speech pattern (with gestures), speaking "with expression" like they used to tell us to read aloud in the primary grades, the simplistic "explanations."

Overall, she gives me the creeps!

That’s it, “schoolmarmish.” But I see it differently—she talks to other adults as if THEY are third-graders, and have to have every simple concept explained to them. It’s right there in her ‘clarification’ of her “I inspired Occupy Wall Street” spiel. “No, you stupid person, now I will explain what I REALLY meant,” she seems to be saying, as she completely alters her original meaning.
