I am a former smoker.
Formerly, completely hooked. For real. Quit, because it bothered me I could not control my smoking. So ... I quit.
Flat out. Several times in fact, before I finally succeeded. Just as with most things worth accomplishing.
I DESPISE smoking Nazis. If you smoke, quit. If you don’t smoke, then shut up, get lost, mind your own da*n business, get out of our faces, and get out of our lives!!
Dumb*ss anti-American liberals.
I'm disgusted with how America has devolved since the era of my youth (the 40's and early 50's).
Back then homosexuals were widely and rightly characterized as queers. They were considered deviants and sinners. In contrast a good host always had ashtrays and a cigarette lighter on the coffee tables for guests.
Now smokers are considered to be pariahs and sodomites are embraced by many. Thank God for Free Republic and Jim Robinson (pictured below using his alternate identity :)), a bastion of sanity in an upside down world.
How many times did it take you to finally quit? And how long have you quit for?
I’ve quit several times, but I LOVE those damned things! It is more of an emotional and mental attachment than a physical one.
Former 3 pack-a-day smoker BUMP!
