God bless you. Any way to show these wonderful men and women that they are appreciated, respected and treasured is a very good thing.
Please, no praises to me. I just tell my tale hoping that others may emulate it. As one who served during the VietNam years, I’ll do my level best to make sure these magnificent kids (said with affection as though they were my own) are never, ever, not shown the appreciation we never did and quite frankly never expect to because time cannot be rewound. With no regrets, we did our service and took pride in ourselves and I know these kids do it as well.
