Michael Steele: Occupy Wall Street ‘incredible movement’ [VIDEO]
The Daily Caller ^ | 10/28/2011 | Michelle Fields

Posted on 10/29/2011 4:21:18 AM PDT by markomalley

Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele is the latest GOPer to weigh in on the Occupy Wall Street protests.

“I think it’s an incredible movement” Steele told The Daily Caller. “I think, quite frankly, it will be something for Republicans to really begin to appreciate a little more, and connect itself to a little bit more, in terms of understanding the root cause of their frustration.”

Watch Michael Steele talk about Occupy Wall Street, the GOP presidential candidates, and Donald Trump.

Fully confirmed...a maroon.

“the root causes of their frustration” — capitalism, not enough free stuff, no cradle-to-grave nanny state, expecting people to be self-reliant, etc.

Yes, we definitely want to “connect” with this movement.

Steele's qualification for becoming the RNC chairman: Dark skin.

Comments like this & actions of other GOP Insiders who are trying to shove Mitt down my throat are reasons why I am thinking of changing my voter registration—after 51 years.

That applies to the Tea Parties, Michael, not the Flea Parties.

Michael?

You there???

I will probably get flamed for this but Michael Steele is correct. The Republicans must find those things about this movement with which it can agree. It should be a purely conservative message and it should serve to embarrass the RINOS and the demonrats.

This whole event, not to mention everything that has happened since the 2006 elections should provide a smart conservative speech writer all that is needed to clearly show why liberalism fails every time and conservative succeeds every time. I just hope the speech falls into the hands of Herman Cain.

I am with you. But, do you think you are asking too much from the stupid party?

There is nothing to agree with this ‘movement’, it is simply a mob.

Good idea, since Michael already sounds like he's been spending a lot of time at the 'corner sto'.

Hey Steele...you want to understand two things perfectly? (I know, it is only two things, but it is better than nothing, right?

Watch this brilliant video by Bill Whittle:

Three and a Half Days

This video explains why the OWS people are where and what they are.

It also explains what to do about it. I think you and a lot of RINO's should watch it.

Yeah, I had an “incredible movement” myself this AM, but it wasn’t anything you’d want to admire, even if it was brown.
