According to officers on the ground, the Iraqis lack the logistics systems and training necessary to maintain most of the gear our troops will not bring home.

As much as I agree with Oliver North, my question is: How much more time do the iraqis need to train? If they haven't gotten it by now, we might need to try a different tactic.

I sure don’t have the answer to that but it seems to me if Obama is hell bent to have our troops out as was planned, he as CiC should have seen to it that equipment started being brought out long ago rather than leave it there.

This is a real fiasco and I’ve little doubt it is his doing. Here we have two months to get out and these negotiations have been going on for months and months but he can say in his campaign speeches he kept his word on withdrawal of troops. He won’t bring up the billions we lost in leaving all that equipment.
