Based on "In contrast, every fructose molecule in sucrose that comes from cane sugar or beet sugar is bound to a corresponding glucose molecule and must go through an extra metabolic step before it can be utilized."???
The fact is the disaccharide is hydrolyzed by a simple enzyme in the stomach.
I know, you don't want to lose the money you make selling your corn to ADM. I sympathize... but your economic incentives are no excuse for pimping health hazards...
Your ignorance is no excuse for pimping your lunatic health notions...
OMG! So how much time does that save? Why does it matter?

Metabolic step? Do they mean sucrase? I suspect that after it's hydrolyzed by sucrase, the frcutose and glucose from sucrose looks just like the sucrose and fructose in HFCS.

I don't own any corn, how could I sell corn to ADM?
I sympathize... but your economic incentives are no excuse for pimping health hazards...
I'm on record criticizing the ethanol mandate and subsidies. I've also criticized the sugar tariffs and import quotas, which make HFCS the cheaper choice. My posts here are based more on your ignorance than anything else.
