It was a fight between a deranged evil despot and lunatic muslim fanatics - and we were stupid enough to pick a side and jump in. You don't understand how brilliant our strategy was!
Since we intervened on the side of the lunatic muslim fanatics, they will love us now and not want to kill us any more! Sure, they wound up with 10,000 surface-to-air missiles... But now they will be friendly to the West!

Yeah, we have super geniuses running the show these days.
When this "revolution" broke out, we should have deployed dozens of drones over Libya, with cameras only, just so we could watch both sides kill each other.
