Heavens to Mergatroid, Nina. Didn't you get the memo? Global Warming is a hoax. All that data is fiction.

Ridiculous premise that “industrialized nations” decided on the temperature that would be dangerous (they couldn’t even all agree on the number) so presto magico that will mean floods, famine, etc.
And not to quibble but which lifetime is “this lifetime”? A baby born today may see 100 years.

Yeah, that sure will be awful to see warmer temps in Alaska and Canada. I bet they love those thirty/forty below winter temps. (smirk)

The Medieval Climate Optimum (that’s what warm periods were called before the AGW rubbish started) was about .8 degrees Celsius warmer than now. The Roman Climate Optimum was about 1.5 degrees Celsius warmer. The Minoan and Holocene Climate Optima were 2 and a little over 2 degrees Celsius warmer than now. They all seem to have been fine times for humanity. 2 degrees Celsius colder than the present would be bad news.

They continue to push AGW even after it has been debunked and they have no real foundation.
Reminds me of how Wile E. Coyote just kept on going off a cliff...and usually didn't fall until he looked down.

Well, according to the recent Berkley BEST study, the Earth has warmed by 2 C since about 1813. And guess what ? We are still doing fine.
