Say what you want about former Godfathers Pizza CEO Herman Cains presidential bid and his missteps along the way, but its hard to argue with results: Cain has an edge in the average of the major polls, and even picked up a straw poll victory in Nevada on Friday.
But that doesnt impress syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer.
[I] saw him on Stossel on abortion entirely incoherent, Krauthammer said. On one hand, people ought to have choice. On the other hand, life is sacred from the beginning and abortion ought to be illegal. This isnt a complicated issue. Its one or the other. It cant be both.
Stossel was simply stunned. And if you combine it with the 9-9-9 stuff, it is not that he just hasnt thought it out. He is winging it. And that is a real problem.
And yes, I have given money in the effort to overturn Row vs Wade. Not many people are in the position to give a million dollars. Very admirable of him.
And I clearly said that Mr. Cain was pro-life.
Baloney.
Carter, Clinton, Bushes, all had governing records. No thanks, those records as governors were all disasters when they were elected president.
O’Donnell & Angle were never rocket scientists, never reached high positions in real world corporations, never served as chairman of Federal Reserve, Never guided a corporation from impending bankruptcy into a profitable one. Not even in the same league as Cain.
By no stretch of the imagination can you make that leap.
Ya know Fred, you'd have a lot more credibility if you'd quit making wild accusations completely unsupported by the facts. It makes reasonable people think you're some kind of crackpot.
You can’t reason with the unhinged.
My memory is that states were starting to make it legal. DC, California, New York—others?
Yeah let us go with someone who has no governing record but a record of talk and rhetoric. Running a Pizza company is a joke and does not count as a qualification for President and neither being Federal reserve chief in Kansas city is a qualification for President. Cain has no qualification for becoming President, end of story.
I listen to his words and he's becoming unhinged and more shrill with
his every waking moment.
Geez, I didn’t know that.
Ask yourself how would you feel if Rick Perry had backtracked on so many answers.
Since Roe V Wade there have been 6 presidents not counting obama. Four were republicans including the one who was in office when Roe V Wade became was ruled upon by the SC. It’s still here.
Ummm, I’d be willing to wager that Charles would not get on his knees for anybody.
May be or may be not. But I am sick and tired of “governors” from various states, and every one of them have been unmitigated disasters during my time in this great country.
The rest of them with long “governing” records with which you are so infatuated, is exactly same as trying the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. I am elated to see that republican voters are showing better common sense this time in poll after poll.
Look what obnoxious little n00b is pooping on another thread.
Good post. I’m starting to think I’ve jumped the gun on Cain, and am back to completely undecided again.
Man, I was thinking this could be the election we get a real, strong conservative in the White House. Now it looks like another compromise just to get the idiot child out.
No, unfortunately we feel better about nailing the messenger’s turbans to their heads (a little Dracula reference).
Ronald W. Reagan Gov Ca?
You are a moron.
