Since NK told James Kelly that they have HEU facilities back in 2003(?,) lots of sophisticated people would rather not take it seriously. Lots of experts, and officials. They viewed it as a ghost "hardliners" loved to whip up into existence. They couldn't be so wrong if they had some elementary understanding of NK regime. On the other hand, it took more than 10 years for them to finally accept that NK had no intention of giving up nukes at all.
Stupid people never go away. I am sure most of them are still at the same jobs with the same biased outlook. All national policies have been subject to sustaining "Godd*mn" bubble in Wall St.. These experts were only happy to oblige. Now that bubbles popped and NK remain unchanged, they suddenly saw the light. Nothing to shield their flawed view from harsh reality.
