The former chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party will be sentenced in December after entering a no contest plea to charges related to allegations of voter fraud.
Michael McGuinness was charged earlier this year with three counts of uttering and publishing, and three counts of perjury. He and Jason Bauer, the former political director of the countys Democratic Party, were accused of fraudulently entering the names of three people as candidates for a group calling itself The Tea Party for county commission or state Senate seats to appear on the November 2010 ballot.

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and other county officials asked for a grand jury to look at filings made by Oakland County candidates for a group called The Tea Party. Signatures didnt match their voter registration cards, and one candidate said he hadnt filed to run and was living out of state.
Officials linked the filings to Bauer, who notarized candidate filings. He later resigned from his position with the county Democratic Party, as did McGuinness.

Last I heard the investigation was ongoing.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jocelyn Benson was herself involved. For those who don’t know, Benson was the Soros secretary of state project candidate who was clearly groomed to steal elections. She teaches election law at Wayne State.
Which brings up the question: When we get around to trying the Cretin-in-Chief, will he claim “No brains” instead of “no contest”.
After all, we know that he’s no lawyer (something that’ll have to explained by the Harvard Joke School of Law at some future date).
It would not surprise me in the least. I believe both Bauer and McGuinness worked for Benson on her campaign.
I know that one of these guys was dismissed from a campaign a few years ago over falsifying a sob story about a woman with a sick child in an attempt to push Obamacare.
Somebody that lives there needs to file a suit against them for violating their civil rights.
Looking at some older stories and it looks like they’ve been trying all kinds of stunts to get out of this. In this story from April they attempted to get a judge to recuse himself because he’s a republican.
